Summer school at the University of Texas at Austin

The McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin invites bachelor students to take part in the four-week 'Global Business Leadership Institute' summer school, together with students of McCombs and other selected universities. Participants will be guided through a carefully designed experiential learning process. They will analyse the experience, articulate the process of learning and adaptation and internalise skills that can be applied in new contexts throughout their careers.

Programme dates
3 – 28 July 2017

Course offer
The programme consists of two courses:

  • 'International Corporate Management' (8 ECTS), which offers hands-on experience by making business decisions in a simulated corporation.
  • 'Management of Cultural Differences' (8 ECTS): Students will use a framework for cultural dynamics to facilitate the process of intercultural adaptation in their simulation teamwork. The course offers both a theoretical model and an opportunity to apply it to students' personal experience during the course.

Credits can be transferred (for details, please see WiSo EXchange International Outgoings Portal > View International Options > Summer School Austin)
