Internships abroad

Completing an internship abroad is a great opportunity to gain valuable practical expertise, combined with a unique cultural experience. This is your chance to gain work experiences and management practice, develop intercultural skills and build a strong business network in order to grow on both a professional and a personal level. Moreover, an international internship can work in your favour in job applications as international experience has become an important factor for many employers.

The WiSo Career Service at the University of Cologne is there to support you if you are looking for an internship in Germany or abroad.

If you are planning on doing your internship in a European country, you may qualify for ERASMUS funding. If you plan to do it in a non-European country, you may qualify for a PROMOS grant.

For MSc International Management/CEMS students: Please note that the International Relations Center is not able to arrange internships. It can, however, put you in contact with CEMS corporate partners.
